Introduction and Description
With a unique EHR platform networking all 40 public hospitals and 120 public clinics since 1992, Hong Kong has hosted one of the largest patient database with complete and systematic clinical data in the world. Such a resource has great potential in facilitating big data analytics research and artificial intelligence (AI) applications on the clinical data. The secure and reliable AI applications in analyzing the health and medical big data will be one of key themes in eHealth.

Digital transformations are happening in healthcare and are changing the way we serve our patients. The new ear has led to an emergence of new cybersecurity risks. This has forced healthcare organisations to take a fresh look at cybersecurity threats and risks. In this workshop, we will discuss the emerging key threats and challenges in healthcare, understand who is after us, and suggest a practical approach in developing a proactive cybersecurity strategy. We will also come to the weakest link cybersecurity - human and suggest effective ways to improve awareness and culture.
